Laarakker Groenteverwerking specialises in cultivating, processing and marketing a wide range of vegetables for the frozen and canned vegetable industry.


Achieving best possible return yield for our contract growers as well as for our customers requires product and market knowledge, craftsmanship, specialised machines, thorough preparation, good timing, flexibility and maximum effort. Our organisation is designed for this; the lines are short and the allocation of tasks is clear.


Growing under contract forms the basis of our vegetable production. We supplement our assortment by buying in from our trusted partners in Europe. We sow, harvest, wash, trim, sort and cut our products ourselves. If required we can perform additional operations or activities for third parties.


Each year Laarakker Groenteverwerking and Laarakker Bio supply 125,000 tons of vegetables grown in the open such as spinach, cabbage, legumes, carrots, leeks, salsify and potatoes. In addition, in our subsidiary company Ecofuels we process our return flows into various green energy products and pure green CO2

Marketing area

Laarakker Groenteverwerking and Laarakker Bio supply some 65 customers in the frozen and canned vegetable industry in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, England and France. In addition, in these countries we also supply vegetable cutting companies, dryers and fresh market customers.
